Jeanne Hutson
About Jeanne Hutson
The eastern end of Long Island is home to twelve generations of Jeannes ancestors beginning with Ralph Dayton, who settled in Southampton in 1640. She grew up in East Hampton Village, and after attending Emma Willard School and Goucher College, she married a naval officer and raised three children. After years as a military spouse, relocating thirteen times across the U.S. and abroad, Jeanne developed firsthand expertise in relocation, property management, and navigating complex transitions. She has been licensed in both Virginia and New York and was an award winning property manager prior to returning home to East Hampton in 2010.

With deep roots on the East End, Jeanne brings an unparalleled understanding of the areas history, neighborhoods, and evolving market. She has a lifelong appreciation for design and provenance and specializes in architecturally significant and historic homes in one of the Countrys most distinctive luxury markets.

Clients value Jeanne’s strategic negotiation skills, market insight, and calm guidance throughout every stage of a transaction. Whether assisting a long-time local family or a first-time East End buyer, she is committed to delivering personalized service grounded in integrity, discretion, and deep community knowledge.

Jeanne is an active supporter of historic preservation, local culture, and community service. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Ladies’ Village Improvement Society (LVIS) and remains closely connected to the natural, architectural and cultural fabric of the East End.
